Clayton Kratz
Intern
Clayton Kratz is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, he is majoring in History, with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. His research interest is the Arab-Israeli conflict. Upon graduation, Kratz plans to pursue a graduate degree in international relations and a career with the U.S. Department of State. Kratz has traveled to Canada, Europe, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Caitlin McCaffrey
Intern
Caitlin McCaffrey is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, she is majoring in Economics, with a minor in International Business. Her research interests include anti-genocide movements, environmental policies and global poverty. Upon graduation, McCaffrey plans to attend law school to study international or environmental law.
Brett Morrison
Intern
Brett Morrison is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, he is majoring in Economics with a minor in Political Science. A member of the International Economics Honor Society, his research focus is on International Political Economy and International Relations. Upon graduation, Morrison plans to pursue graduate studies and a career in foreign affairs. He speaks French, and has traveled to Italy and the United Kingdom.
Jean-Pascal Deillon
Intern
Jean-Pascal Deillon is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, he is majoring in International Relations, with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. He is a member of the UCF chapter of the United Nations Association. His research interests include nuclear deterrence, terrorism and national security. Upon graduation, Deillon plans to pursue a graduate degree in security studies. He speaks French and Spanish, and has studied Arabic. He has traveled to Canada, the Caribbean and throughout Europe.
Chelsey Echevarria
Intern
Chelsey Echevarria is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A junior at UCF, she is majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, Women’s Studies track, with minors in Women’s Studies and Non-Profit Management. She is the Secretary of UCF Students Against Slavery. Her research interests include anti-genocide movements, HIV/AIDS policies and global poverty. Upon graduation, Echevarria plans to travel the world before pursuing a graduate degree in either human rights studies or international relations.
Marco Funk
Intern
Marco Funk is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, he is majoring in Political Science, International Relations and Comparative Politics track. He is a member of the UCF chapter of the United Nations Association. His research interests include European integration and U.S. foreign policy. Upon graduation, he plans graduate studies in either international relations or European politics. Funk speaks German and Italian, and is studying French. He has traveled to Brazil, Hong Kong, Macau and Europe.
Sean Skow
Intern
Sean Skow is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A junior at UCF, he is double-majoring in Environmental Studies and Economics. His research interests include geographic information systems and its application to social ecology. Upon graduation, he is considering graduate studies in either urban and regional development or economic development. Skow has studied Spanish and traveled to Canada, and St. Kitts and Nevis.
Vinny Cannizzaro
Intern
Vinny Cannizzaro is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, he is majoring in Political Science, Pre-Law track, with a minor in Legal Studies. He currently works with the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office’s Adopt-A-Precinct Program. His research interests include Elections and Voting, Civil Rights and Liberties, Educational Policy and Government. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a graduate studies in public policy and then law school. Cannizzaro has travelled to the Caribbean, Canada and many parts of Europe.
Sandra Chacon
Intern
Sandra Chacon is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at Rollins College, she is majoring in International Affairs and Organizational Communications. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Hamilton Holt SGA at Rollins. Her research interests include Middle East politics and the global economy. Upon graduation, she plans graduate studies in foreign service. A native of Venezuela, Chacon speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. She has traveled to Brazil, France and England.
Remi Vespi
Intern
Remi Vespi is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A junior at UCF, she is majoring in Legal Studies, with a minor in International and Global Studies. She currently volunteers at the Seminole County Humane Society and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Her research interests include human rights, international law and European cultures. Upon graduation, she plans to attend law school to study international law. A native of Canada, Vespi speaks conversational Italian and Spanish. She has traveled to China and throughout Europe.
