Clayton Kratz
Senior Intern
Clayton Kratz is a senior intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, he is majoring in History, with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. His research interest is the Arab-Israeli conflict. Upon graduation, Kratz plans to pursue a graduate degree in international relations. Kratz has traveled to Canada, Europe, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Caitlin McCaffrey
Senior Intern
Caitlin McCaffrey is a senior intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, she is majoring in Economics, with a minor in International Business. Her research interests include anti-genocide movements, environmental policies and global poverty. Upon graduation, McCaffrey plans to attend law school study international or environmental law.
Brett Morrison
Senior Intern
Brett Morrison is a senior intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, his major is Economics, his minor Political Science. A member of International Economics Honor Society, his research interests are international political economy and international relations. Upon graduation, Morrison is planning graduate studies and a career in foreign affairs. He speaks in French, and has traveled to Italy and the United Kingdom.
Lauren Adair
Intern
Lauren Adair is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, she is majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish. She is also a volunteer with Volunteer UCF. Her research interests include peacemaking, human rights and human trafficking. Upon graduation, Adair plans to teach English in South Korea for a year, then pursue a graduate degree in either counseling or clinical psychology. She speaks conversational Spanish, and has traveled to Panama, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Stefan Babjak
Intern
Stefan Babjak is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, he is double-majoring in International and Global Studies, and International Relations, with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. He serves as President of Students for Israel at UCF. His research interests include Eastern European economic policy, global security and Israeli politics. He plans to pursue graduate studies in international relations in Israel. He is studying Russian, and has traveled to Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria and Israel.
Lucien Charland
Intern
Lucien Charland is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A junior at UCF, he is double-majoring in International and Global Studies and Spanish, with a minor in Finance. His is a member of LEAD Scholars. His research interests include social media, social environmentalism, politics and history. He plans to pursue graduate studies in business administration and international relations. He is fluent in Spanish and is studying Latin. Charland has traveled to Canada and Turkey, and throughout Europe and Latin America.
Visalakshi Ramachandran
Intern
Visalakshi Ramachandran is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, she is majoring in Legal Studies, with a minor in Political Science. She is currently on the Executive Board of Students Against Slavery at UCF. Her research interests include human rights, human trafficking and climate change. Upon graduation, Ramachandran plans to pursue a career in criminal justice, focusing on combatting human trafficking. She speaks conversational French, and is currently studying Spanish and Hindi. A native of India, she has traveled to France and England.
Kari Smith
Intern
Kari Smith is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at Rollins College, she is majoring in International Affairs, with a minor in Organizational Communication. Her research interests include Asian politics, and global peace and security. Upon graduation, Smith plans to pursue a graduate degree in international studies and a career in foreign affairs. Smith is currently studying Japanese and has traveled to Japan.
Inna Babakulieva
Intern
Inna Babakulieva is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, she is majoring in Public Administration. She is a member of Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society at UCF. Her research interests include Terrorism Studies, Middle East Politics, Globalization and Human Rights. Upon graduation, Babakulieva may pursue a career in diplomacy. Babakulieva is fluent in Russian, has lived in both Russia and Turkmenistan, and has traveled to Mexico.
Anam Khaja
Intern
Anam Khaja is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. A senior at UCF, she is majoring in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. She is the coordinator for the Muslim Healing Clinic. Her research interests include India and the Middle East. Upon graduation, Khaja plans to attend medical school. She speaks conversational Urdu and Hindi, and has traveled to India, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
